I wanted to create a distinct lounge area on the garden level that would give family or guests an area to relax with a bit of privacy. In addition to the necessities - a comfy sofa, fireplace and tv, I added a small bar with the cutest mini fridge and coffee station. The encaustic tiles add a nice pop of color amidst all the white.

I love pretty details. Light peeking through the staircase, a teeny lamp and branches from a smoke bush. They always say that it’s the little things that make us happy.

Well-loved books and collected pieces add interest to personalize this family room. Book shelf color: F&B Mouse's Back, Art: Michelle Quance.

The original wall separating the dining room and kitchen was removed to open up this kitchen space. It's now the perfect place to gather and has great flow for entertaining.

This was the color drama in the fall and highlights one of the things I love the most about this room. The window in the principal bedroom allow for the best views and when privacy is needed, full length drapes offer solitude. In case you’re wondering, I didn’t design with the pooch in mind. It just worked out that way!

Pretty detailing with a farm style sink set against white oak cabinetry. Black windows punctuate the space and offer a wonderful view.

This kitchen nook has a casual elegance and is perfect for morning coffee and occasional meals. A window seat provides additional seating in a pinch.

We love the contemporary and clean look of this recent ensuite renovation. A black and white palette, featuring black shower fixtures and cabinetry is contrasted against the pearly octagon tiles, dolomite walls and nickel faucets.

The requisite bunk room with a custom queen and full bunk bed that can handle kids and adults. Fun and casual styling elements to make the little ones feel at home.

A casual and elevated living space to enjoy a fire or watch tv.

We were going for a lounge vibe in the living room and wanted it to feel sophisticated and cozy for friends to gather. The footprint is narrow but with a custom sofa and chairs it feels spacious. New paneling, fireplace and a Samsung Picture TV completes the look.

The warm wood tone with the pop of blue in this dining room lends a casual elegance that’s perfect for entertaining family and friends.
